TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

These events are designed to encourage positive team building experiences for small/medium groups of people. A number of activities can be carried out but all are built around a story about navigating, getting consensus on the right way and then implementing, being similar in design to a workplace. There will be those who will just rush in with no planning and "just do it" and those who will want to plan to the last degree and not get to implementation, and those in between those extremes. Each task is evaluated and then reviewed for team performance and key learning’s out of the teams results.

The main elements are learning while having fun, a key element that makes our events memorable.

Team building catergories are:

NAVIGATION AND GEOCACHING:

Teams are split into a variety of skills and given navigation tasks based on off road markings, map reading and driving skills. Points are not won on time but on the teams skills to navigate safely to the maximum number of locations using a combination of their 4wd vehicle, walking and hand held GPS.

DRIVING EXERCISES:

Teams are split into 2's. A small technical driving course is laid out in an open area. One team member is blind folded and acts as the driver, the other as the guider. The course is then navigated with the guider leading the driver through obstacles. At the end, driver and guider swop places and repeat the course.

WINCHING AND RECOVERY EXERCISES:

Teams are briefed on the safe recovery of a stuck vehicle by the instructional staff. Teams are then split up and attempt to recover a stuck vehicle gaining points for safety and security of team members, and losing points or even disqualification if an unsafe recovery is attempted.
Team building events can be run over 1 or 2 days and we can arrange accommodation, catering and logistics. Please call our corporate team to discuss your needs.

CORPORATE CHARTERS

We have a range of vehicles and guides are available for short or longer term charters for corporate hires.
A variety of additional activities can be added to the hire such as high quality 5 star accommodation on high country stations, hunting and fishing with or without guides, 4x4 driving instruction etc. All of our charters can be customised to meet the needs and requirements of corporate customers.
