SELF DRIVE AND TAG ALONG TOURS
If one of our guided trips does not take your fancy then why not try one of our self drive
or tag along tours.
We can offer a range of vehicle options and of course can equipped any vehicle
to meet your needs. Alternatively why not drive your own four wheel drive through the
beautiful southern High Country Its a land of snow capped mountains, braided rivers
filled with fish and even gold, opalscent lakes, and some of the finest scenery in the world.
It is also the home to the country's largest sheep stations criss crossed by myriads
of unique 4WD tracks that give access to stunning scenery.
Trips lengths can be varied depending on time availability but we can highly
recommend our 5 day trips, which allows us time to enjoy the scenery at a much
more sedate pace stopping off for lazy lunches in the sun with a glass of the finest
South Island wines, or perhaps time to try your luck with a rod and line,
in the some best fishing in the world.

Our tag along tours are great opportunities to get out under your own steam with the added security of a well equipped guide vehicle.
Driving in small groups (max 4 vehicles) a lead scout vehicle guides drivers over exciting high country territory that would normally be out of reach for normal drivers.
Using radios between vehicles the guide vehicle, leads and instructs the drivers how to negotiate rough terrain whilst on tour through New Zealand’s stunning high country scenery.
A range of routes and locations are available dependant on trip duration and driving skills.
